- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue a solicitation for the provision of Ultrasound Services for the Federal Correctional Institution located in El Reno, Oklahoma. A firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/requirements type contract will result from this solicitation. The requirement for these services will consist of an estimated one clinic per month. Each clinic will consist of up to 15 ultrasounds of various types. The ultrasound unit must be in place and fully operational and ready for exams by 7:00am on each day that exams are scheduled. A mutually agreed upon schedule between the contractor and Contracting Officer's Representative will be determined following award of a contract. The contract period shall be from the Effective Date of Award (EDOA) through September 30, 2013 and four 12 month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. The solicitation will be available on or about November 14, 2012 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register at www.sam.gov under the NAICS code for this solicitation. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of offers is December 11, 2012, 2:00 P.M. CST, however, this is a projected estimate and offerors should refer to the solicitation (1449 -Block #08) for the actual date offers are due. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 621512 with a size standard of $13.5 million. This solicitation will be a total small business set-aside. All responsible small business concerns may submit an offer which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date of award is February 1, 2013
