- Fire Protection System Maintenance and Repair Services, Oahu, Hawaii. The Contractor shall maintain and repair fire protection and alarm systems to ensure they are fully functional and operational. The Contractor shall perform service call work, which includes emergency service calls, urgent service calls, and routine service calls. The Contractor shall develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for all fire protection and fire alarm systems to ensure proper operation, to minimize breakdowns, and to maximize useful life. The Contractor shall perform preventive maintenance, which includes the fixed fire alarm systems and equipment, automatic sprinkler systems, foam extinguishing systems, and FM-200 fire extinguishing systems. The Contractor shall have, but not limited to, the following current and valid licenses: State of Hawaii C-20 Fire Protection, State of Hawaii C-20A Dry Chemical Fire Repressant System, State of Hawaii C-13 Electrical, City & County of Honolulu Fire Department Fire Extinguishing Suppression System Water-based Systems, City & County of Honolulu Fire Department Fire Extinguishing Suppression System, Non-water-based Systems, National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Fire Alarm Systems. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561621 and the annual size standard is $12.5 million. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. The proposed contract type will be a combination firm fixed-price (FFP) and indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDID). IDIQ work may be issued via the DOD EMALL, a web-based ordering system, using Government purchase cards. This contract will replace a portion of the contract for similar services awarded in 2007 for $239,673.96 FFP and $184,200.00 IDIQ. We will include information about the current contract and the incumbent contractor (e.g., value of last option exercised, firm name, address, etc.) with the solicitation package. We do not require requests under the Freedom of Information Act for this information. The proposed contract listed here is 100 percent small business set-aside. The Government will only accept offers from small business concerns. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical proposal, past performance and experience information, and a price (or cost) proposal for evaluation by the Government. The Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. All interested offerors shall register at the website. No notice of solicitation activity will be provided to interested offerors. Proposal receipt date is approximate.
