- Copy of Synopsis / Solicitation. Copy of Scope of Work, Table 1, and Table II. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District has a recurring need for rental of various types of construction equipment for Truman and Stockton Power Plant. The Kansas City District intends to award multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) from this combine synopsis/solicitation utilizing unrestricted competition. As needed, these materials will be acquired by placing calls against a BPA. The Contractor is responsible for supplying and delivering all equipment listed under each BPA to Truman and/or Stockton Power Plant. Delivery locations and fees will be negotiated at the placement of each call. The total ordering capacity under each BPA shall not exceed $5,000,000.00 and no call issued under any of the BPAs shall exceed $150,000.00. Each BPA shall be valid for a period of five years or when total dollar amount of all calls issued under the BPA reaches $5,000,000.00, whichever comes first. Offeror's submitting prices should refer to Table 1 and Scope of Service located under Additional documentation for a list of equipment that is needed to support the Truman and Stockton Power Plants. In addition, Offeror's are encouraged to submit prices and a description of any other equipment they feel would be relevant to this solicitation. Prices submitted shall remain good through 31 December 2012. Subsequently, prices will be updated annually and remain good for a period of one year. Additionally, it is vital for all offers out of state or more than 20 miles from Truman and Stockton Power Plants to provide precise details on how they can support Truman and Stockton Power Plants mission (i.e. Explain in detail if your company will use other rental companies locally or if your company has stores located within the vicinity of Truman and Stockton Power Plants that can sustain this requirement). Prices are to be submitted to Willie Hodges at Willie.e.Hodges@usace.army.mil by 11:00 AM CST December 4, 2012. No facsimile submittals will be accepted. Please use provided form (s). To be considered for award all prospective contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Online registration instructions may be obtained through the following website www.ccr.gov. One can also contact the Contractor Registration Assistance Center at 1-888-227-2423 for assistance with CCR. ORCA may be accomplished at http://orca.bpn.gov. Starting on November 15, 2012 all questions regarding this combined Synopsis/Solicitation should be directed to Mrs. Travida Byas via email at travida.d.byas@usace.army.mil.
