- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Contracting Division (NCD), has a requirement for a FilmArray diagnostic analyzer manufactured by BioFire Diagnostics, Inc to support program training. ACC-APG NCD intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, on behalf of the Army Medical Department (AMEDD), with BioFire Diagnostics, Inc., a Small Business located in Salt Lake City UT, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Soliciting from a single source, only one source reasonable available. Since AMEDD is designing training for the FilmArray, no other source besides BioFire Diagnostics, Inc. can meet the Government's requirement. This has been confirmed by market research conducted by the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3826 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government anticipates awarding one (1) Firm Fixed Price contract.
