- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov, and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division has a requirement for Amphenol USB Test Adapter, P/N USBFTVKEY6A2048GCAP. This acquisition is under North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 334417, Electronic Connector Manufacturing. The contract will cover a five-year period and will be issued as a Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract. This solicitation is a noncompetitive sole source brand name only to Amphenol and/or their distributors. The minimum IDIQ award quantity is 60 with a maximum award quantity of 800 over the five year period. All items shall be produced in accordance with the associated Statement of Work forthcoming in the solicitation. Delivery will be required FOB destination to NSWC Crane with inspection and acceptance at destination. The delivery schedule will be available when the RFP is issued. The items being purchased will be packaged using Best Commercial Practice. This procurement is for BRAND NAME ONLY AND THEIR DISTRIBUTORS. The USB Test Adapter P/N USBFTVKEY6A2048GCAP has been developed, tested, documented, trained on, and safety certified for use in the Next Generation Software Loader Program. The Government intends on awarding a Firm Fixed Price IDIQ contract that will be awarded using FAR part 12 procedures. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. To be eligible for award, contractors must be properly registered in the Government(s) System for Award Management database (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. The solicitation will be available for download on or about 27 NOV 2012. Closing date will be on or about 28 DEC 2012. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation to be considered. Submitting a bid from the NECO web site by clicking on the "Submit Bid" does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format. Furthermore, each interested vendor shall monitor the FBO, NECO and Crane websites for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
