- THE SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS AMENDD AS FOLLOWS: 1. Change: Construct a low rise reinforced tilt-up concrete building wrapped in brick veneer, with walls supported on shallow or pile foundations. To read: Construct a 31,947 SF low rise reinforced tilt-up concrete building with a brick veneer, with walls supported on shallow or pile foundations. 2. Change: Structural steel framing will be required at the weapons cleaning areas, with reinforced CMU walls on the interior of the building. To read: Structural steel framing will be required at the weapons cleaning areas. 3. Change: The project will include demolition of Building #3909 and relocation of Building #T4820 for a total square footage of 1,044 m2. To read: The project will include demolition of Building #3909 and relocation of Building #T4820 for a total square footage of 11,237 SF. 4. Change: Sustainable design principles will be included in the design and construction of the project in accordance with Executive Order 13423 (2007) and other laws and Executive Order. To read: This project will comply with all laws and Executive Orders. 5. Change: Low Impact Development will be included in the design and construction of this project as appropriate. To read: Low Impact Development will be included in the construction of this project as appropriate. 6. Add: Paving also includes the resurfacing of an approximately 1.86 acres existing parking lot to include a 1.5 overlay of new asphalt and striping. The new areas shall match the existing lot pavement structure prior to receiving the overlay. An existing approximately 1.68 acres permeable paving lot has failed and needs to be rebuilt. The contractor shall demolish and replace the permeable lot with a bituminous asphalt lot and provide a striping plan to assure the parking layout will remain as is. This project also includes the widening and resurfacing of Rifle Range Road. The roadway to be widened is approximately 4,300 linear feet and goes from Access Road south to North Pad Service Drive. The existing pavement section varies from 20 wide to 22 wide. The proposed pavement section will be a minimum of 26 wide. Widening is anticipated to be symmetrical on both sides of the existing pavement. 7. Change: Past experience in the design bid build construction of armory facilities that are of equal or greater size to $7,000,000.00 including scope, and complexity within the past 5 years to include experience with tilt up concrete construction and electrical and site improvements as described in the description of work.
