- Information needed: Sources Sought Synopsis: Market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The 106th Rescue Wing is seeking for a firm to perform refurbishment to existing probes to the HH60 Sikorsky helicopter. The refurbishment process involves removing the Teflon liner and adhesive layer contained on the inside layer within the probe outer cylinder. Specifically: -the requirements are to remove Teflon liner and residual adhesive from inside diameter of outer cylinder (fuel probe) -remove the rider (formed by residual adhesive from the Teflon liner) that exists after the Teflon is removed. Ridge to be taken down to.000 -.002 inch high with no sharp edges -complete a final inspection: use UV white light borescope model bfo 101530du light source mode is -300superlight fiber optic source or equivalent.
