Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center White River Jct., VT, is seeking a contractor in Essex, Caledonia, Grafton and Coos Counties to provide emergency beds as part of its Community Based Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) program. This is a potential multiple award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity solicitation with an anticipated period of performance beginning January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2013 with four (4) one (1) year options at the discretion of the VA Medical Center. The goal of the HCHV program is to remove homeless Veterans from the street or habitation unfit for Veterans and provide temporary shelter while more permanent options are explored. The applicable NAICS code is 624229 and the size standard is $7 Million. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors include: price, technical capabilities including facility inspection, and past performance. The solicitation is unrestricted. The solicitation package will be made available on or about 11/2/2012. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessed for download on the date of the issue at the following website: www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to the website. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued. All interested parties MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. If you are not registered with CCR, you may access at http://www.ccr.gov.
