Description

The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a full and open competition after the exclusion of sources basis, a Conex box fabricated/built/configured according to the information included in the attached statement of work (SOW). The SOW outlines minimum technical specifications for the 20 ™ x 8 ™ x 8 ™6  with some lines including brand name or equal requirements. All brand name or equal specifications can be determined by a statement including wording similar to œor equivalent  within the description. Please see the attached SOW to quote the Conex box required at NSWC Dahlgren. Include with your quote your company cage code, DUNS #, and Federal Tax ID. Exclusion of Sources: This requirement is 100% set aside for small business based on NAICS 332311 “ Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing size standard 500 employees. Please include any shipping/freight costs for FOB Destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports) is applicable to this purchase. Pricing should be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.ccr.gov. A formal request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis. Quote is due 16 November 2012, no later than 12:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date by 1 December 2012. Quotes may be submitted by Email in Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf format to daniel.belcher@navy.mil or by Fax to: 540-653-0592. Email or Fax should reference Request for Quote N00178-13-Q-4062 in the subject line.
