Description
DLA Maritime-Puget Sound intends to procure electrical cable on an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity basis. Estimated annual quantity is 40,000 linear feet. This electrical cable will be 10-AWG, stranded 3-conductor, 600 Volt, 90 degree centigrade rated, black-jacket, copper type with insulation and jacket in accordance with UL62, 1581 and NEC ART-400. The minimum ordering requirement will be 250 linear feet per roll. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% set-aside to a Small Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15. The resulting award will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type supply contract for delivery to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA. Requested delivery upon placement of any delivery order is 10 days. The RFP is estimated to be issued on 09 November 2012 under Solicitation number SPMYM2-13-R-0002 and will be electronically posted via the NECO website at www.neco.navy.mil. Any offeror wishing to submit a proposal are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation in addition to frequently monitoring the site for any amendments to the solicitation. An email request to jason.lewis@dla.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. Failure to respond to the RFP and associated amendments prior to the bid close date and time may render the offeror non-responsive and result in a rejection of any submitted proposal information. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting offers must: 1) Submit a completed and signed solicitation (and applicable amendments) including all pricing information for the base award and all subsequent option years. 2) Complete all representation and certifications found in the solicitation. 3) Provide manufacturer information of proposed items. 4) Ensure current registration in the SAM website (https://www.sam.gov).
