Description

This is a Sources Sought notice for information only. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. In preparation for future procurement, the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas is performing market research to gain knowledge of potential sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned small business, small business, or large business) relative to NACIS 561499 that can offer the services listed below. Provide Presort Mail Service for the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center n Houston, TX. Pick up mail Monday through Friday. Presort service is to sort mail, apply bar-coding and transport to the United States Postal Service. Contractor must be able to perform Enhance Imaging Services and demonstrate the ability to provide Return Mail data within a 72 hour turnaround to ensure accurate and timely service Contractor shall be certified by the United States Postal Service in Mail Processing Total Quality Management (MPTQM). Interested companies should submit an electronic statement outlining their company's capability and capacity to provide these services to Houston, TX 77459. Also firms shall provide their business size status in accordance with the small business administration website (www.sba.gov) for the above referenced NACIS code that fall within. Please submit statements of capabilities electronically to corey.labbe2@va.gov no later than Wednesday November 07, 2012 @ 1200 CST. Phone inquiries will not be accepted.
