- This notice is a synopsis for the procurement (Invitation for Bid (IFB)) of Grounds Maintenance Services for the 28th Bomb Wing, 28th Contracting Squadron (28th CONS), Ellsworth Air Force Base (EAFB), South Dakota. THIS IS A 100% HUBZONE SET ASIDE ACQUISITION. The total contract is for a base period of six months plus four 6 month option periods. The period of performance will be 1 April 2013 through 30 September 2017. The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, equipment maintenance, and other items or services necessary to perform Grounds Maintenance Services at Ellsworth AFB in accordance with the requirements of the Performance Work Statement. A pre-proposal Site Visit is planned; specific information regarding the Site Visit will be included in the solicitation. Capable HUBZone firms are encouraged to download a copy of the solicitation and supporting documents from the FedBizOps at www.eps.gov; hard copies of the solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a bid to be considered. You must register at the FedBizOps web site in order to receive notification of the solicitation and respective changes; interested firms are responsible for monitoring this website frequently for any updates, amendments, or modifications to any and all documents. The North American Industry Classification System is 561730 with a small business size standard of $7M. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Acquisition Management (www.SAM.gov) in order to be eligible for award.
