- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and all operations identified in these specifications for Project No. ZNRE 13-4113, Paint Exterior Finish, 44 Garden Units, North Military Family Housing (MFH) Area, Yokota Air Base, Japan. The following scope of work is expressed in general terms and in no way limits the Contractor's responsibility. Perform all work indicated in specifications or accompanying drawings, which will be included in the solicitation package. The contractor is required to provide a complete and usable facility within the terms and conditions of this contract. The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to: All work necessary to paint exterior walls of 44 garden units, 7 trash enclosures and 2 mechanical rooms in North MFH Area. Building includes 1050, 1051, 1052, 1053, 1054, 1055, 1056, 1057 and 1058; Concrete trash enclosure includes 10509, 10519, 10539, 10549, 10559, 10579 and 10589;Mechanical room includes 1060 and 1061. Do not paint existing wooden self-built patio structures. Work includes: prepare surface including pressure wash, repair substrate materials, and apply primer and finish coats of paint; site preparation, scaffolding and removal/disposal and incidental related work. Scaffolding shall be disassembled and removed the entire assembly after completion of the project, and all necessary scaffolding parts combination is to meet new labor, safety, hygiene regulation (scaffolding) on 1 Jun 2009. The magnitude of this project is expected between Y20,600,875 and Y41,201,750 ($250,000.00 and $500,000.00), in accordance with FAR 36.204 (d), which means the Government's Cost Estimate falls in this magnitude. Selection will be based upon evaluation factors which will be stipulated on the solicitation package. Possible site visits will be scheduled in November 2012 and award may be made by the end of January 2013.
