Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs will post a solicitation for the purchase of Textile Care Processing Equipment at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center - Richmond, VA Textile Care Facility to www.fbo.gov on November 8, 2012. The anticipated size of this award will exceed $7 million. The VA intends to purchase Textile Care Processing Equipment to include but not be limited to: One (1) Laundry Ancillary Support Water Storage/Pumping System and related systems; one (1) Soil Storage/Sorting Conveyor System; one (1) Soil Overhead Monorail Conveyor System; one (1) Wash System; one (1) Drying and Conditioning Tumbler; one (1) Semi Automated Cart Washer and Dryer; one (1) Cleanside Overhead Semi-automated Monorail Storage Conveyor System; two (2) Flatwork Ironing Systems; one (1) Garment Tunnel Finisher; three (3) each 120/125 Pound Drying and Conditioning Tumblers; three (3) each 80/85 Pound Washer Extractors; one (1) Large Piece Folder; three (3) Small Piece Folder Machines; and four (4) Folding Tables. The facility is located at: Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center 1201 Broad Rock Blvd. Richmond, VA 23249 The VA may award multiple contracts from this solicitation.
