The contractor provides services as the Catholic RE Coordinator working in coordination with the Installation Senior Chaplain and Senior Catholic Pastor in planning and implementing the Catholic RE Program. The contractor agrees to furnish all that is necessary to accomplish the services of this contract. The mission of the Chaplain's program is to provide for worship needs, including religious education of all assigned Soldiers, civilians, and Family Members. The primary goal of the RE Program is to provide basic religious understanding through Bible studies, doctrinal studies, and life application studies for children and adults as well as preparation for the sacraments governed by the tenants of the Catholic Church doctrine. The purpose of the REC is to coordinate and provide RE classes using volunteers from the Catholic Parish within the community. The Contractor will be performing promotional endeavors, and advertising campaigns maintaining adequate records of functions, attendance, and materials needed; projecting the timely supply of educational material, and classroom supplies for RE functions; coordinating teacher training classes and teacher appreciation events; and answering community inquiries regarding the RE program.
