- Statement of Requirements DESC: Fairchild Research Information Center at Maxwell Air Force Base is requesting information for Library Furniture. This is a Request for Information (RFI) ONLY. It is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS RFI OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED. The purpose of this market research (Source Sought) is to determine if the Library Furniture is commercially available. The Library Furniture should be Brand Name or E qual. Please review the attached Statement of Requirements to present an equal value of Library Furniture. CLIN 0001-AA: Furniture and furnishings for library MILCON Phase 1B, Brand Name or Equal, in accordance with the Statement of Requirements and A&E design attached. CLIN 0002-AA: Labor/Delivery/Installation Charges for Furniture and furnishings for Library MILCON Phase 1B in accordance with Statement of Requirements and A&E Design attached. Firms responding to this RFI are asked to provide the following information in their initial response: company's full name, business size, address, point of contact, and a clear indication as to whether or not they can provide the item the government is seeking. Final responses to this RFI will be due at 2pm, Central Standard Time (CST), on 24 October 12. As industry may expect to see portions of submitted information in future solicitations, portions of the response containing proprietary information should be clearly marked as such. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information are not acceptable and will not be accepted in response to this notice.
