Description

List of 92 NSNs on the solicitation The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 92 NSNs with various item descriptions and end items in Federal Stock Classes (FSCs) 1005, 2530, 2540, 2590, 2910, 2930, 2940, 2990, 3010, 3020, 3030, 3040, 4310, 4320, 4330, 4720, 4730, 4810, 4820, 5920, 5930, and 5998. All 92 items are sole source to Hydraulics International (56529). An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with a base year and 4 option years is anticipated. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. Applicable NAICS is 332912 and Small Business Size Standard is 500. Solicitation will be unrestricted with other than full and open competition. The solicitation will be available on Nov 6, 2012 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp/. Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Destination is required. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be noted on RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery as described in the solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. Interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved source is Hydraulics International (56529).
