Description
Sources Sought Announcement Lower Colorado Regional Office, Conference Center Viability Study This sources sought announcement is for acquisition planning purposes and no formal solicitation exists at this time. All qualified concerns may submit capability statements for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine the technical, administrative, and management capability of such firms to perform a study as described below, and to determine the appropriate procurement strategy, to include whether a set-aside is appropriate or an alternate procurement strategy is warranted. The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Lower Colorado Region (LCR) is opening a new Regional Training and Conference Center (RTCC) in the late spring of 2013. Reclamation has a requirement for a viability study to be conducted to determine whether the RTCC could be competitive with other Federal training and conference centers; whether the we can sustain our present operations in the current and future economic and political climate; whether we can expand operations outside of the LCR and Reclamation; and if operations are expanded, what obstacles we may face. The information provided by this study will be used in support of the marketing plan for operations of the RTCC. Responsible sources are welcome to submit a capability statement on or before 4 PM (Eastern) October 31, 2012. Submittals will be reviewed and considered by LCR during the solicitation planning process. The capabilities package submitted should demonstrate the firm's capability, responsibility and success in performing studies similar to the work described above. Packages should include the following information: 1.Firm's name, address, and telephone number 2.Capability Statement: Narrative of recent experience in preparing and successfully completing this type of study within the past 5 years, include the following: a.Project titles b.The length of study c.Detailed description of methods/metrics used d.Challenges you experienced e.Client name and telephone number f.Contract value 3. Business size and type: 8(a), Hubzone, Service Disabled Veteran, Small Business or Large Business 4.Suggested North American Industry Classification (NAIC) Code Send your capability package by email to Meagan Fyffe at mfyffe@usbr.gov or mail to Meagan Fyffe (LC-10300), P.O.
