Description
THIS SOURCES SOUGHT is to determine vendor interest for the fabrication of High Pressure/ Vacuum, "HN" female to "HN" female, short bodied bulkhead feedthrough connectors. Potential Subcontractor shall furnish all labor, material, and services required for the fabrication, inspection, testing, packaging, shipping, handling, and delivery of HN feedthrough connectors including associated test reports, certifications of conformance, etc., in accordance with Contractor's specifications, drawings, and scope of Work. Subcontractor shall meet the requirement of 10 CFR 830.120 Criterion 1 through 10. Subcontractor will be required to submit a cut sheet and specification for High Pressure/ Vacuum, "HN" female to "HN" female, short bodied bulkhead feedthrough connectors. The HN connector shall have continuous operation at potentials LISTED BELOW: VOLTAGE OPERATION 600 VRMS (850 V peak) MECHANICAL CAVITATION Withstand axial force of 15 pounds minimum without displacement TENSILE STRENGH 50.0 +/- 2.0 Ohms at 300 pounds minimum tension. The tension maybe applied to the mating connectors themselves CONTACT RESISTANCE 4 milliOhms (Maximum) DISENGAGEMENT FORCE 2.0 oz. (minimum) after engage/ disengage cycles. Cycle with 0.066 inch minimum diameter pin and test with 0.063 inch maximum diameter pin. Pin penetration to be ¼ inch minimum. THERMO SHOCK -58°F to 260°F, five cycles (-50°C to 127°C) PHYSICAL SHOCK Three 50 "G" shock pulses MOISTURE RESISTANCE One 24 hour cycle, then pass voltage withstand test of 15 kVDC (minimum). Connector identification shall be legible after exposure. The following range of environmental and installation conditions: TEMPERATURE/ OPERATION RANGE -40° F TO +200° F (-40° C TO +93° C) PHYSICAL SHOCK (UNMATED) RANGE UP TO 50 "G" PRESSURE (I.E. GAS) UP TO 1100 PSIG VACUUM (OPEN FACE) UP TO 30" OF MERCURY PHYSICAL MOUNTING (BULKHEAD) UP TO 7/16 INCH THICK PHYSICAL MOUNTING (FLANGE) THROUGH A TAPPED HOLE CONNECTOR MOUNTING TORQUE VALUE 15 FT-LBS GEOPHYSICAL (MATED) SHALL WITHSTAND LIQUIDS AND SOILS
