Description

This announcement is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) held an Industry Day conference on 20 September 2012 in San Diego, CA. The conference was hosted by PEO LCS, PMS 505 (LCS Fleet Introduction and Sustainment) for the purpose of discussing the Navy ™s plan for the LCS sustainment strategy for FY14-18. The Industry Day discussion focused on an overview of the Product Support Plan (PSP) for the LCS fleet and followed with detailed discussions of the LCS Sustainment Execution (SEC) and Planning Yard Services (PY) procurements. These solicitations will address all aspects of maintaining both variants of the LCS ship sea frames and mission modules for the 5 year period of FY14 through FY18, including but not limited to, the planning and execution of all modernization, corrective, preventative, and planned maintenance onboard the ships and their mission packages. The purpose of this announcement is to provide answers to questions received in response to the Industry Day announcement. The Government is providing the draft Statement of Work documents previously submitted with the Industry Day Announcement as a reference to the bidders ™ questions received. No additional questions are being requested at this time.
