Description: SOW Transportation Scope of Work Bid2012-18 Student Transportation Services Winter Break The Iroquois Job Corps Center (IJCC) and Education & Training Resources (ETR); located at 11780 Tibbets Road, Medina, NY 14103, (585-798-7024) are desirous of a certified, bonded, licensed, and fully insured contractor to submit a bid on the project mentioned herein; and if successfully awarded the subject contract, to satisfactorily perform the following work project according to the established criteria contained within same. Potential bidders must obtain a Dunn & Bradstreet (DUNS) number to be awarded a federal contract. Potential bidders must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before being awarded a federal contract. Final bids are due to this center, not later than 2nd of November 2012 at 2:00 PM. Please see attached link for obtaining a DUNS number: http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform Please see attached link for registering with the CCR: https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx Description of Services Required: Charter Buses for NYC/NJ/Philadelphia: 2 buses for round trip transportation from Iroquois Job Corps Center, 11780 Tibbets Road, Medina, NY 14103 to Bryant Park, 42nd Street and 6th Avenue, NY, NY. 1 bus round trip transportation from Iroquois Job Corps Center, 11780 Tibbets Road, Medina, NY 14103 to New Jersey Port Authority (Penn Station), Market Street, NJ and then on to Bryant Park, 42nd Street and 6thAvenue, NY. Outbound Trip - All buses stop at a McDonalds in New Milford, PA for a minimum of 30 minutes. Buses will arrive on Center at 3:00 pm, 1 hour prior to departure. Departure from Center will be at 4:00 pm. Return trip - Bus will depart Bryant Park, 42nd Street and 6th Avenue, NY buses will arrive at Bryant Park on 42nd Street and 6th Avenue at, 1 hour prior to departure. Return trip - Bus will depart New Jersey Port Authority (Penn Station), Market Street, NJ, 1 hour prior to departure. After bus leaves Market Street, bus will drive to Port Authority, NY and meet up with other bus and all will depart from Bryant Park and arrive at Iroquois Job Corps Center at 6:00pm. Charter Bus for Rochester/Syracuse: 1 bus for round trip transportation from Iroquois Job Corps Center, 11780 Tibbets Road, Medina, NY 14103 to Syracuse Bus Station on 131 Alliance Bank Parkway Syracuse, NY. Zip. Bus will pick up students at Iroquois Job Corps Center at 4:30pm; bus will arrive on Center at 3:30 pm, 1 hour prior to departure. Outboard Trip - to Rochester and drop off students at Rochester Bus Station, 186 Cumberland Street, Rochester, NY and then proceed to Syracuse Bus Station. Return trip - bus will leave Syracuse Bus Station, 131 Alliance Bank Parkway, Syracuse, NY and arrive at Iroquois Job Corps Center at 4:30pm. Bus will pick up students at Rochester Bus Station, 186 Cumberland Street, Rochester, NY and arrive at Iroquois Job Corps Center at 4:30pm. NOTE: All Driver's names and cellphone numbers are required prior to departure and return trips. Iroquois Job Corps Center Chaperones will be accompanying the 2 buses to and from NYC/NJ/Philadelphia. Dates of transport will be: Outbound trip from Medina, NY is approximately 4:00 pm on Dec. 20, 2012. Return trip will take place at 4:30pm on January 7, 2013. BID PROVISIONS The following Bid Provisions will apply. Failure to carefully read and follow all instructions will not relieve the bidder of any bid provision, and failure to do so will not place ETR/IJCC at risk. 1.All prices and notations must be in ink or typewritten. No erasures will be permitted. Errors may be crossed out and corrections printed in ink or typed adjacent and must be initialed in ink by individual signing the bid. 2.Price Warranty: The Fee-For Services quoted herein are no higher than would be quoted to any other customer, be they commercial and/or agencies or the United States Government for similar services. 3.The bidder will list on a separate sheet of paper any exceptions to the conditions of this bid. This sheet will be labeled "Expectations to Bid Conditions" and will be attached to the Bid Sheet. If no exceptions are stated, it will be understood that all general and specific conditions will be complied with without exception. 4.ETR/IJCC reserves the right to accept and/or reject any or all bids or waive any formality connected with the bids. Lowest rate or overall bid does not constitute a Bid Award. ETR/IJCC will be the sole judge of which bid is selected for approval (see "Selection of Contractor" above) and subcontract award. 5.Items will be quoted F.O.B. destination. No additional charge for delivery, drayage, express, parcel post, packing, cartage, insurance, license fees, permits, cost of bonds, or for any other purpose will be paid by ETR/IJCC unless specifically included in the bid and accepted by ETR/IJCC. 6.In the event that subcontract is awarded in response to this RFQ, the below Statement of Work, provisions and set forth Terms & Conditions will be incorporated in their entirety into the subcontract and become an integral part of the subcontract when the subcontract is accepted by the subcontractor, either by acknowledgement or commencement of performance. 7.Winning bid will be required to provide an active DUNS # and also provide proof that they are registered in the Central Contract Registration. 8.Irrespective of winning bidder; ETR/IJCC reserves the right, and will have final approval of any and all vendors, associates, or subcontractors to provide services to the center.
