Description
ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Tammy Bingham, Contracting Officer, email: tammy.bingham@us.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. PRON: AX3Q0021AX; NOUN: Shaft Assy, Fwd-Tall; NSN: 1615-01-185-3087; P/N: 406-040-315-105; Quantity 70 each applicable to BX (OH-58D Army Helicopter Improvement Program) with deliveries to Tracy, CA. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 70 each, 263 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and 70 each per month thereafter until contract completion. The First Article Test Report is due 163 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 70 each, 175 DACA and 70 each per month thereafter until contract completion. This requirement is restricted to Bell Helicopter Textron Inc. (CAGE: 97499) because the rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional source(s) is not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed or otherwise obtained. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
