- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT INQUIRY The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is seeking information and sources that are capable of providing Microbiological Blood Culture Laboratory services for the Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS) - Denver VA Medical Center. The location for the services to be provided is 1055 Clermont Street, Denver, CO 80220. Contractor shall provide all equipment, reagents, standards, controls, supplies, consumable/disposable items, parts, accessories and any other item required for the proper operation of its' contractor owned blood culture analyzer and peripherals necessary for the generation of the Cost Per Test (CPT) for blood or body fluid specimens, services on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS). The instruments shall be able to simultaneously perform the complete profile and meet the performance characteristics for accuracy and precision as defined by the 1988 Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA) and the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI). The Contractor shall propose the suggested/recommended equipment/reagents for all ECHCS that meet the requirements of the facility. The Contractor shall provide FDA approved, automated blood culture monitoring systems/analyzers. The system shall be compatible with the VA VISTA hospital information system. This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation! This is not a request for proposal (RFP). The VA shall not pay for any information received resulting from this sources sought notice. Requests for copies of a solicitation shall not be honored or acknowledged. The capability statement should include a point of contact, complete mailing address, telephone number, email address and should state the company's business size status.
