- FLC, Philadelphia intends to purchase 10,000 Official coins on a sole source basis from C. Forbes,Inc. of Richmond, VA. C. Forbes, Inc. is the only source able to satisfy this requirement because they own an approved die cast for the production of coins for the Chairman. They are uniquely positioned to deliver the requested amount of coins witnin the required timeframe. Using C. Forbes for the sole source purchase guarantees delivery of coins by 1-1-13 and a cost savings for an approved die case.
