The North Regional Contracting Office (NRCO) seeks information on commercial vendors that are capable of providing Chemical Analyzers with Reagents for Ft Meade, MD, Ft Detrick, MD; Ft Myer, MD; and Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The Chemical Analyzers must meet the minimum specifications as follows: Reagents: No reagent preparation Measurement principles: Direct ISE (Potentiometric) Colorimetric/Rate Immuno-rate Turbidimetric Semi-quantitative values for drugs of abuse testing Calibration: Must have stable 6 month calibrations Must be able to pre-calibrate unlimited number of lots Instrument start-up requirements: No priming No washes No daily calibrations Sample Types: Serum Plasma Urine CSF Sample and Reagent Management: Clot and bubble detection High sample viscosity detection Save-the-sample management system Liquid level sensing Reagent delivery detection and management On-Board Test Capacity: Must be able to house all current assays packs plus a spare Must be able to load packs while instrument is running Sample Capacity: Must be able to load >100 samples Must have dedicated STAT lane Other considerations: System should scan for sample interferences (hemolysis, icterus, turbidity) with no additional reagents, sample or consumables required. Scan should have no impact on the delivery of results. Scan should automatically flag the impacted test results. System should not require water or drains that have additional maintenance and cost and carry the potential for contamination risks that impact test results. System should have no fixed probes or mixing assemblies that have the potential for carry-over. Disposable Tips on both clinical chemistry and Immunochemistry analyzers.
