Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS BEING PROCURED THROUGH A NATIVE AMERICAN HUBZone 8(A) DIRECT AWARD. In accordance with the Small Business Administration 8(a) program, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.8; The Office of Purchasing and Contracts, Clinical Center (CC), National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to make a direct award to Native American certified 8(a) firm Federal Program Integrators, Indian Island, ME. BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE The Radiology & Imaging Sciences provides imaging services to the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center's patients who participate in research protocols conducted by the various NIH isntitutes. Imaging services essential to patient care include DRX Digital X-ray Systems. A service Agreement is required to ensure continuous operation of theabove referenced system and minimal down-time for repairs and/or preventative maintenance(PM). REQUIREMENTS THE Service Agreememt on two CARESTREAM DRX DIGITAL X-RAY SYSTEMS(SN4612-0663 AND SN 4611-9565) is to be covered for the perio10/19/2012 through 4/30/2013 with one option year 5/1/2-13 through 4/30/2013. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System code 811219, with an employee size standard of $19.0. The Government anticipates that there will be one (1) contract awarded for this requirement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS, NOR IS A SOLICITATION AVAILABLE.
