- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), will be hosting a Vendor Outreach Session (VOS) located in Washington, DC, on October 18, 2012, from 9:00 am to 12:15 pm. The VOS will be held at the Holiday Inn Capitol, located at 550 C. Street, SW, Washington, DC 20024,in the Discovery Ballroom. Vendor Outreach Sessions are a series of pre-arranged 15-minute appointments with Small Business Specialists from various components of the Homeland Security procurement offices. These sessions provide the small business community an opportunity to discuss their capabilities and learn of potential procurement opportunities. Also in attendance will be Prime Contractor Small Business Liaisons from several of the large businesses who have contracts with DHS. There is no cost to the small business vendors. Sign up for the October 18th Vendor Outreach Sessions will be on Thursday, October 11th 2012, beginning at 12:00 noon, Eastern Time.
