Description
The anticipated solicitation release date is updated to November 2012; the anticipated award date is August 2013. These are only estimated dates. The solicitation may be issued without further notice and will be available on the SPAWAR E-Commerce website: https://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil under N00039-12-R-0021. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR HQ), in support of the Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (PEO C4I), Communication Program Office (PMW/A 170), intends to issue a Request For Proposal (RFP) on the basis of full and open competition for the production and delivery of up to One Hundred and Eighteen (118) Commercial Broadband Satellite Program (CBSP) Unit Level Variant (ULV) systems. The CBSP ULV systems provide high throughput for commercial SATCOM connectivity capability from the networks aboard the Navy's ships to the Navy's shore infrastructure. The contract is anticipated to consist of a three (3) year base period with five (5) one (1) year options. The contract will provide ULV integrated X and Ku band terminals and modem suites, provisioning items, training, and engineering support services. All hardware, provisioning items and training will be procured on a firm-fixed-price (FFP) basis. Engineering support services will be procured on a cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) basis. FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, will be utilized. The solicitation may be issued without further notice and will be available on the SPAWAR E-Commerce website: https://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil under N00039-12-R-0021. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently review this web page frequently for updates to any and all documents. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). No paper copies of these documents will be issued.
