- The Office of Naval Research (ONR) intends to issue a firm fixed price award, using simplified acquisition procedures, since only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, on or about 12 OCT 2012 to the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) under Contract Number N00014-13-M-0009. The period of performance will be on or about 12 OCT 2012 to 24 OCT 2012. The Office of Naval Research (ONR) requires registrations for the 2012 ONR Naval S&T Partnership Conference to be held at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City from 22 October 2012 through 24 October 2012. The prospective contractor shall provide registrations for approximately 350 individuals to attend the 2012 Office of Naval Research (ONR) Naval S&T Partnership Conference on 22-24 October 2012 in Arlington, VA. ONR intends to award this requirement as a sole source to the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE), since the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) is the exclusive source for providing registrations for the 2012 Office of Naval Research (ONR) Naval S&T Partnership Conference. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561920 with the size standard of $7,000,000. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation and technical capabilities, which, if received within ten (10) calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by ONR. All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
