- Ensemble Verification and Validation Support Services for Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center in Monterey, CA. This requirement is for a base period of one year with four 1-year option periods. This work is to enhance Ensemble Forecast V&V software for use in the assessment of the Navy-relevant skill of the FLENUMMETOCCEN ensemble forecast system by providing on-demand graphical products for these assessments. This software will be transitioned to the FLENUMMETOCCEN operational computer systems, thus must meet the standards of the operational system. The graphical illustrations of these forecast skill measures will be displayed via the Naval Meteorology portion of the Navy Enterprise Portal (NEP-Oc) and thus must meet the visualization standards and requirements of the portal architecture. Work must be considered in the context of providing warfighter support (products, applications, data and decision tools) for on-going overseas military missions. 4.0 SPECIFIC PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS AND TASKS The contractor shall receive task guidance from FLENUMMETOCCEN's Contracting Officer ™s Representative (COR). Specific areas may include the following model verification and validation related computer programming task. Technical Clarification Notices (TCN) will be used to clarify areas of support required by this task order. TCNs may be used to: prioritize support, further define level, location or schedule of support to be provided, and / or output (e.g., deliverable) requirements. TCNs may be generated by either the contractor or the Government, but must be fully coordinated and approved by the COR prior to execution. TCNs shall not be used to change the intent, scope or value of this task order. Contractor shall ensure that all software meets all appropriate Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Application Security and Development Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and/or Application Services STIG requirements
