Description
The Battle Creek VA Medical Center located in Battle Creek, Michigan, has a requirement for a Mental Health Facility to provide all labor, material, personnel and professional expertise to provide inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment counseling services in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Contract period will be a base period from date of award (approximately April 1, 2012) with four one-year option periods exercised at the option of the Government. Total contract duration will not exceed 5 years. It is the VA's intent to solicit offers and award one contract on a competitive basis. This procurement will be conducted utilizing the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR 13 and will be advertised as an unrestricted procurement. The applicable NAICS code is 623220. The associated size standard is $7.0 Million average annual receipts for the preceding three years. Request for quotes will be available on or about March 9, 2012 and will be due on or about March 29, 2012. The solicitation will be issued electronically and will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities website https://www.fedbizopps.gov. The contractor shall be regularly established in providing these services for a minimum of at least three (3) years. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx.
