- Description
- The work consists of a base and one (1) option bid item. The project entails renovation of two buildings and construction of a dog kennel facility. The project work is located in a 24 hour-a-day, 7-day-per-week operational Federal facility. BASE WORK: The work for Building 723 includes but is not limited to demolition of the existing interior high bay area, minimal asphalt removal on the exterior of the building, concrete slab removal, steel column demolition, utility demolition, and interior partition demolition. Construction work consist of but is not limited to an outdoor courtyard area, a first and second floor expansion of the high bay area including all associated utility infrastructure, build out of the entry area, and interior partition renovation of portions of the existing area and incidental related work. The work for Building 722 includes but is not limited to demolition of the existing interior partitions, concrete slab removal, and associated utility demolition Construction work consist of but is not limited to renovation of the interior spaces and associated utility infrastructure and incidental related work. OPTION 1: The work for the Dog Kennel Facility includes but is not limited to over-excavation of the proposed site footprint and clearing of the site footprint, construction of a new dog kennel and ATV storage facility with concrete slabs, exterior CMU wall construction, dog kennel fencing, trench drains, structural standing seam metal roof, metal siding, roll up doors, associated utility work and finishes and incidental related work.
