- This solicitation will contain one NSN (3110-01-160-2182) Bearing, Ball, Annular. This is an IQC with one base and four option years, for an estimated quantity of 904 each. Item description is in accordance with General Dynamics drawing 05606 176C2461, Rev U, P/N 176C2461-23, dated 1 August 1997.. The approved sources are Schatz Bearing Corporation (CAGE 21760) and New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (CAGE 83086). There is no surge requirement for this NSN. This is a Stocked Item. The FOB point is Destination; Inspection and Acceptance is Origin. This NSN is a non-commercial, configuration controlled, critical application item. The Foreign Bearing Restriction applies to this procurement. The required delivery is 226 days ARO. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is solicited as a Total Small Business Set-aside (SBSA) and will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated RFP issue date is October 13, 2012 (anticipated closing date of November 13, 2012). This solicitation includes provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction. A Reverse Auction may be conducted. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the BSM DIBBS website: https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP.
