- Description
- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT in accordance with - FAR subsection 8.405-6(a)(c), Limited sources justification and approval; is a logical follow-on to an original order place against the Federal Supply Schedule. This order will be issued to Smartronix Inc., 41150 Smartronix Way, Hollywood, MD 20636-3172 to procure services in support of the Marine Corps Network Operations and Security Center (MCNOSC), Cyber Operations (Network Operations and Maintenance) program. The Contractor is responsible for providing, Program Management, Knowledge and Information Assurance (IA) Management, Network Operations and Maintenance, Help Desk, and Engineering support services. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Task Order with a period of performance from 30 September 2012 thru 29 March 2013. A follow-on, long-term contract will be competitively solicited during this sole source award's period of performance. The Government will not consider any quotes submitted as a result of this announcement. However, the Government will be competitively soliciting for a longer-term base and option period award in support of these services, to commence upon completion of this sole-source award.
