- Description
- The purpose of the resulting task order is to manage the deployment of the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Headquarters from its current locations in Washington, DC, to a new headquarters facility being constructed at the St. Elizabeths West Campus site, Washington, DC. The scope of the resulting task order includes only the Deployment Management (DM); the physical move contract will be procured later, either through this contract or by a separate action. This effort is part of the first phase in a multiphase construction project that will construct office space for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) at St. Elizabeths. The St. Elizabeths site is located east of the Anacostia River, on Martin Luther King Boulevard, Washington, DC. The scope of work for this DM services task order includes all planning, coordination, training, scheduling, management, and other related services necessary to prepare and move the USCG into its new facility. The contractor shall also perform services such as staging, generation of move guides for employees, and advising project team members from DHS and GSA. The contractor will participate in the development of the procurement of the physical move contractor, and may therefore be ineligible to compete for the physical move contract, depending on procurement type.
