Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Sam Houston intends to award a firm fixed-price contract on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) to Ovid Technologies Inc, 100 River Drive, Norwood, MA 02062-5036, for Journals to support TJC policies on-line subscription services at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) located in San Antonio, Texas. The services are commercial within the meaning of FAR Clause 52.212-1. The purchase order will be issued on or about 21 September 2012 with a period of performance of one year ending October 2013. Estimated initial cost of services is $77,119.00. This service provide on-line Subscription Services for full text medical reference materials. The NAICS code is 519130 and the large businesses size standard is 500 Employees.
