Description

Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Task Order Under the Authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, FAR Part 8.405-6(a)(2) ("The item is peculiar to one manufacturer..."), the U.S. Environment Protection Agency (USEPA) / OIC intends to award a sole source task order against IMMIX Technology, Inc.'s GSA contract number, GS-35F-0265X. Guidance Software maintains only one GSA schedule holder, IMMIX, Technology, Inc., as the sole authorized GSA schedule holder for all generally available Guidance software, hardware, licenses, maintenance, and training. The OIC has on-going pilot deployment of EnCase Enterprise suite and concludes the additional components of the EnCase eDiscovery suite are needed to fulfill the Agency's legal requirement. The additional function allows OIC to perform system analysis on custodians selected target devices within the EPA network. This procurement is for an annual maintenance renewal for EnCase Enterprise site license to operate the software tool. This procurement, a firm fixed-price task order will be awarded to IMMIX Technology, Inc. under NAICS code 541519. This procurement is under the statutory dollar limit of $3.5 million. Anticipated award date is NLT September 28, 2012.
