Description

DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Coast Guard Helicopter Interdiction Tactical Squadron Jacksonville intends to establish an agreement for fiscal year 13 with Doctors Lake Marina for boat slip rental and trailer storage with secure fenced parking adjacent to the St. Johns River. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Doctors Lake Marina under the authority of FAR 6.302. The Doctors Lake Marina (along with Julian Creek Marina) is one of two Marinas with access to the St. Johns River, however the Doctors Lake Marina is the closest and provides the most space for unit needs. In addition Doctors Lake Marina provides security fenced parking for trucks and trailers which is a requirement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
