- The proposed contract action is for Service Maintenance, which the Lemoore Naval Hospital Lemoore CA intends to solicit this requirement on a sole source basis to Stryker under the authority of Far 13.106-1(b)(1). This is a solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, N00259-12-T-0986 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 811219. Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)1, sole source justification is based on Stryker having proprietary ownership for supplies used in conjunction with the device that the Government currently owned. These proprietary rights preclude other vendors from guaranteeing the supply functionally in support of the Stryker Products. Contractor must be registered to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award.
