Description

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.201(b)(1)(i), this is a notice of the West Palm Beach Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center's intent to enter into a sole source contract with MTI Office Systems Inc. DBA Nomad Technologies to provide a maintenance and repair service contract for four Nomad PD2100a Podiums at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center from October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013. This action is authorized by FAR 6.302-1: only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. This action is necessary due to the non-existence of any other source that can provide these services due to the need for access to Nomad's proprietary programming and related software. Such access is required in order to carry out the necessary services. Responses are not being solicited to this notice. Any comments should be submitted by September 30, 2012 to eric.sullivan2@va.gov. The approved justification document will be posted following contract award.
