This will be a firm-fixed price (FFP) requirement. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (i) The solicitation number is issued as request for quotation (RFQ). (ii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-61 (iii) This will be a small business set-aside under NAICS code 334418; size is 500 employees. (iv) Contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure are listed below: CLINDESCRIPTIONQUANTITIYUNIT PRICETOTAL PRICE 0001Fabrication of RF Pelican Tag (315 Mhz)1,200 each$$ (v) Description of requirements: Assembled 315 Mhz RF-Pelican Tag Circuit Boards shall be provided as described within the Statement of Work (SOW): Statement of Work for RF Pelican Tag (315 MHZ) Circuit board ADM is working on HMMDS Surrogate that requires RF Pelican Tag. We are required to purchase 1200 of these circuit boards to meet the quantity requirement of the HMMDS program. RF Pelican Tag is an integral part of the HMMDS system, as the whole system will not meet program's requirements without these units. The Husky Mounted Detection System Surrogate (HMDSS) is a trainer system for the Husky Mounted Detection System. In order to simulate operation, a RF Pelican Tag is used to simulate a detection signal. The RF Pelican Tag is a reusable/consumable item. Approximately 25 are issued per training system. The RF3603d part is a component of the requested circuit board assembly. Since it was a non-stocked part and has a 12-week lead time, it was procured prior to this contract request. We have this part and (we, the government) will supply it to the vendor upon award of the contract A zip file will accompany this contract request that has all the data file in order for the PCB manufacturer to make these parts. Please note that we will be supplying the RF3603D part, as this is a long lead item and we purchased it to meet program schedule. We will deliver to the supplier once available. Contractor shall provide a firm-fixed priced quote based on the requirement below. Requirement: 1,200 315 Mhz RF-Pelican Tag Circuit Boards. Contractor is responsible providing all parts, materials, and labor to create 1,200 printed circuit boards fully assembled per the design and data provided by the Government in the zip file attached. Delivery for the first 300 assembled circuit boards should be within 30 days from date of contract award (DCA). Remaining circuit boards should be delivered within 30 days of each preceding delivery. Technical acceptance will be based on the SOW. (ix) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (x) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
