- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is not a solicitation, but market research to determine potential sources of UPLC Systems for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Office of Forensic Sciences Laboratories. The UPLC System shall include column switchers, diode array detector, binary pump, software, solvent degasser, monitor, computer, keyboard, mouse, printer, installation and familiarization. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The business size standard is 500 employees. Please provide a capability statement that demonstrates your company’s ability to meet the specifications of a UPLC system, your two most recent government contracts awarded for similar or same work, their dollar value and period of performance. This is a sources sought to find capable large or small businesses. Please indicate your business size status and demarcation. All submissions regarding this posting shall be in writing and received by 3 pm Eastern Time on Monday, September 24, 2012 to Thomas Mmbaga at Thomas.D.Mmbaga@usdoj.gov. Please include your company’s point of contact, phone number, and email address with you submission. This sources sought synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach.
