Description
Modification is issued to provide Questions and Responses: QUESTION 1: Would a highly interactive web-based solution be considered? This training software exists and is delivered through a learning management system that records participant data. RESPONSE: No. An instructor-led course is requested for this effort in order to address questions that may arise based on individual user common tasks, thereby leading to a semi-tailored experience, and the most effective and useful training for our users. QUESTION 2:Will the government provide a room, tables and chairs at the training site allowing the vendor to provide laptops, a projector and power cords etc., for the training? RESPONSE: No. The vendor should provide a venue and a proposed schedule for training. There is no commercial internet connection available at Government sites, which will impact training and experience in some of the features of Office 2010. QUESTION 3:We would like to have confirmation on the following requirement as stated in the solicitation: ITEM 5: CONTRACTOR FURNISHED EQUIPMENT/MATERIAL/SERVICES:- Contractor/Vendor is to provide Equipment/Materials/Services and Facilities. If not, does the government have a facility or classroom with computers and 2010 Microsoft software? RESPONSE: No. See response to #2. QUESTION 4:500 total seats are requested for the one-day custom Microsoft Office 2010 Training class as noted in this solicitation. Please share NAVFAC Marianas preferred minimum and maximum number of participants for each one-day training session so we can quote their needs most accurately. Min/Max considerations include the seating capacity in the government-provided training room (s) and daily job requirements. RESPONSE: As stated in response to #2, there is no commercial internet connection at Government sites. Depending on contractor room size and available laptops, participant size should be 25 minimum to 30 maximum.
