Description
This is an amendment to Request for Quote ITC-RFQ-12-0056 submitted on 9/11/2012 for the NAFTA/Research paper(s). As required by the policy prescribed in FAR 4.1102 that all government vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration prior to award of a contract agreement. Please reference in your RFQ Required Central Contractor Registration(CCR) in Section 3.7. See the instructions below to apply for the Central Contractor Registration via Sam.gov. To register an entity in SAM, follow these steps: Step 1: Access the SAM online registration at www.sam.gov. Step 2: Create a User Account. Step 3: Click on "Register New Entity" from the left side navigation pane. You must have a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number in order to begin the registration process. Step 4: Complete and submit the online registration. If you already have the necessary information on hand (see the SAM User Guide ), the online registration takes approximately 30 minutes to complete, depending upon the size and complexity of your entity. SAM registrants are required to submit detailed information on their entity in various categories. Additional, non-mandatory information is also requested. The SAM User's Guide defines and details specific informational requirements. The User's Guide also provides guidelines on how to obtain unknown information. Categories of required and requested information include: * General Information - Includes, but is not limited to, DUNS number, CAGE Code, entity name, Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN), location, receipts, employee numbers, and web site. * Corporate Information - Includes, but is not limited to, entity type and SBA-defined socioeconomic characteristics. * Goods and Services Information - Includes, but is not limited to, NAICS code and Product Service (PSC) code. * Financial Information - Includes, but is not limited to, financial institution, American Banking Association (ABA) routing number, account number, remittance address, lock box number, automated clearing house (ACH) information, and credit card information. * Point of Contact (POC) Information - Includes, but is not limited to, the primary and alternate points of contact and the electronic business, past performance, and government points of contact.
