Description
This amendment is to add the following to the minimum requirements: - Installation should be included in the quotation - A one (1) year standard warranty should be included in the quotation ____________________________________________________________________________________ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes are being requested via this synopsis and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requisition Number W81EWF-2220-2345 is being issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) utilizing simplified acquisition procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. NAICS Code 334516 with number of employees not exceeding 500 will be used for this solicitation. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Vicksburg, MS, Enviromental Laboratory has a requirement for TWO Ion Chromatography Instruments. BACKGROUND: Due to increasing research and analytical workload for specialized speciation analysis, the ERDC Environmental Laboratory has been tasked with purchasing two new ion chromatography instruments to replace two existing obsolete systems. The new systems shall allow simultaneous determination of inorganic and organic species at parts per billion to parts per million levels. Reference clause 52.212-1, Instructions To Offerors - Commercial Items, The offeror shall submit (1) one copy of their quote for evaluation. Your quotation MUST include literature detailing specifications of the item provided and a separate document that specifies EACH minimum requirement and whether your product meets minimum requirements, exceeds minimum requirements, or does not meet minimum requirements. Your quotation could be rejected if this information is not provided. Your quotation shall include a cover page that details the following: 1)Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, cage code, DUNS number, and tax identification number. 2)Statement addressing your current registration status in Systems Award Management (SAM) 3)Delivery Schedule FOB Destination - Quotation shall include shipping. Inspection and acceptance is at destination by the Government. Delivery is desired within 30 days after award. Vendors may propose alternative delivery terms in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(e). EVALUATION - COMMERCIAL ITEMS: The Government intends to evaluate offers and award (1) one Firm Fixed Priced contract without discussions with offerors with the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to make sure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation. Quotations are due NOT LATER THAN 8:00AM Central Standard Time (CST) on Wednesday, September 19, 2012. All completed quotations and questions SHALL be emailed to Jamaya.Smith@usace.army.mil.
