Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD ON SOLE SOURCE/BRAND NAME BASIS The Department of Education, Federal Student Aid (the Department), intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of 20 USC 1018(a) to Idera, Inc., located at 2929 Allen Parkway, Suite 3200, Houston, TX 77019-7112. This procurement is a commercial open market acquisition under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. Idera, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of Idera SharePoint Enterprise Foundation License. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Interested parties may submit any comments by the Department by September 17, 2012 by 9:00am EST to julie.liu@ed.gov with “Idera SharePoint” referenced in the subject line.
