- Amendment 1 is to remove 100% set aside for small business from the combined synopsis/solicitation. Also remove the three (3) FAR Clauses stated in the Amendment. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation reference number F4AT822214A001A is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-60. This acquisition is unrestricted under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333618. The size standard is 1,000 employees. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 13. This RFQ consists of the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN): CLIN 0001: Quantity 1 each, Detroit Diesel Marine Turbo After cooled Power Choice (see attached specifications). EVALUATION FACTORS: In accordance with FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, the Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factor(s) considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1. Technical Capability 2.
