Description
The US Army Medical Command North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract to American Purchasing Services, Inc. doing business as American Medical Depot, Opa Locka, FL, for Stryker Prime with Zoom stretchers. The items and accessories will consist of the following: 5 each Prime with Zoom Electric Standard Units; 5 each 5" x 30" Pioneer Surfaces; 5 each Foot End Nursing Controls; 5 each Integrated Pump Racks; 5 each Dual end SideRail Releases; 5 each 2 Stage Permanent Fold IV Poles - Head Rt; and 5 each Chaperone Stretcher Exits with Scale Included. The Stryker Prime with Zoom stretchers have been approved as the standard model directed for use in the Emergency Department and Ward 2A of the Ireland Army Community Hospital, Ft. Knox, KY in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This requirement will be procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13, using simplified acquisition procedures. NAICS code is 423450, size standard of 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. Offerors certain they can meet the requirement may submit in writing an affirmative response and statement of technical capabilities. All written responses must include a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Affirmative written response must be received no later than 02:00 PM Eastern Standard Time 18 September 2012.
