Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source contract to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation for engineering services for evaluation, design, engineering, production, logistics and software development for a portable, rack-mounted simulation of MQ-4C Triton (BAMS UAS) integration into the Joint Unmanned Aircraft Systems Mission Environment Safety Case Test and Evaluation System (JUSCTES). JUSCTES will enable the integration of a physical Air to Air Sub System (AARSS) and AARSS Radar Performance Model (RPM) with the Broad Area Maritime Surveillance (BAMS) Integrated Mission Management Computer (IMMC) software to facilitate the display of air tracks on the notional GCS simulator in support of the JUAS ME testing. The overall objective is to provide for development, integration, installation, and configuration of related BAMs Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) simulation software capable of processing and displaying the output of an AARSS and/or AARSS RPM. The contractor shall deliver a tested JUSCTES at the component and system level. The Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the BAMS UAS, and as such, is the only known source available with the requisite technical knowledge and experience to provide the services described herein to satisfy the Government's requirement. Subcontracting opportunities should be sought directly from the Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation at the following address: (a) Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation; 600 Grumman Road West; Bethpage, NY 11714-5000 (b) Attn: Frank Fusco; and (c) Tel: 321-951-6143. IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERESTED PARTIES: There are no commitments by the government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract modification for the efforts mentioned above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. No telephone responses will be accepted.
