Description
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M0026312T1049 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60 (https://www.acquisition.gov/far/index.html) and DFARS Publication 20120906 (http://farsite.hill.af.mil). This solicitation is issued as unrestricted with a North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement of 812930. This acquisition is for the procurement of parking passes, in support of 1st Marine Corps District, Recruiting Sub-Station (RSS) Brooklyn and RSS Manhattan. FAR Parts 12 and 13 procedures are being utilized and the Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for parking passes; five (5) passes and six (6) passes respectively. The contract will be for a base period of twelve (12) months and one (1) 12-month option periods. The contract requirements for this procurement are outlined in Solicitation M0026312T1049.Applicable commercial provisions 52.212-1, 52.252-2, 52.212-3 and commercial clauses 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 are located in the solicitation. The basis for award is: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Technical acceptability requires meeting all specifications, as detailed in the Contract Line Item Number (CLIN). In addition to technical acceptability, vendor shall have satisfactory past performance. All responsible sources may submit a response, which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency. It is the intent of the Government to issue one award. The closing date and time for this solicitation is September 17, 2012 at 3:00 PM (EST). Quoters are responsible for ensuring that their submitted quote has been received and are legible.
